Settling
Down
|
You
just landed in Paradise. The sun is shining, the
waves are calling and ono grinds are beckoning
for you to put them in your mouth. You don't
even want to unpack before you go exploring, let
alone go through the hassle of making
appointments for utility companies to hook you
up.
But let's be realistic - ties, galoshes and
winter coats are no longer a necessity, but gas,
electricity, water and cable are just as
essential in the Islands as they are on the
Mainland. And don't forget the telephone. You'll
need it to call your friends back home to pass
on the information that it's in the balmy mid-70
degrees outside and that you have gotten rid of
your ties forever.
So get hooked up ASAP. The sun, waves and grinds
will still be there tomorrow.
